| dc.description.abstract | Band Saw Blade is the cutting tool required to saw timber on a Band Saw Machine. It is available in rolls from which it is cut to required length according to the size of the Band Saw Machine on which it is to be used. It is then made endless by means of brazing. The endless saw blade is placed on both the wheels of which one is rotated by a motive power and the other is free and adjustable. By giving tension on the blade by adjusting the free wheel and by rotating the other wheel by some motive power, timber is sawn straight. | en_US |
