dc.description.abstract The Door Locks are used to lock up the doors. The door may be locked with the help of aldrops and a padlock, but in modern age the door locks are specially made for locking the doors. The most common door lock is called mortice lock. Mortice lock is embedded inside the door panel and is operated by a key ;Wd a latch. The mortice lock may be vertical or dead type. The vertical mortice locks are used in flush doors and they can be taken as door locks for the scheme. Other mortice locks are slightly different from vertical mortice locks and they are rarely used. en_US
