dc.description.abstract Engineering scale is a basic requirement for mechanical and civil draughtsman's work in an engineering drawing office. This is also widely used by engineering students for preparing drawings in different proportions. They arc used by Engineers, architects, surveyors and draughtsmcn. They arc available in card board sheets, They are also made of transparent or milk white acrylic plastic with an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The white card board scales are painted and the other plastic scales have graduated markings marked on a linear dividing machine. Steel rules are also one of the items of Engineers scales but widely used in workshops: en_US
