entrepreneurs must be groomed in large numbers' (Avasthi and Kowjalgi, 1998).Development
of entrepreneurship is the key factor for self-sustainability of any economy. India has great
potential for human resources as well as natural resources. Entrepreneurship development
among rural areas can help in employment generation and support for an increment in per capita
income, which would be a big push for our developing economy. The Food Processing Industry
(FPI) has been one of the fastest growing industries in the economy in the last decade. It has
the ability to achieve strongly in the Indian market and also abroad. Eco-products and organic
food has created good demand in this era, and India has sufficient balances of all the possible
resources for this industry. The food processing industry can easily trap the external market and
is able to enjoy the fruit of global success. |
