Small scale industry occupies vital importance in the development of a country. These industries make use of indigenous resources and progresses toward self-reliance. Small Scale Industries (SSI) helps in improving the economy through contributing products, generating employment opportunities and brings foreign exchange through various methods of exporting. This helps to maintain the economical balance among the various regions in the country. [Entrepreneurs are individuals who take risks in their endeavours. Generally they start business on their own. Initially entrepreneurs prefer small industry or business ventures. Thus, individuals who have the potentials to enter in manufacturing process or in any field of business should know about the facilities available to them. If they are exposed to the benefits then the chances of achieving success in their venture initiation leaks bright. Thus, small scale industries and entrepreneurship goes hand in hand i.e. there is a close relationship between entrepreneurs & small scale industries. Any individual who plans to be on his own first tests the waters? Small firms are wonderful propositions for testing the waters by the entrepreneurs. In case of attainment of success they execute expansion and diversification plans into action. |
