dc.description.abstract In the current scenario agriculture faces many challenges due to globalised market, liberalized food prices, depletion of natural resources, climatic change, speedy urbanization and changing consumer taste. After implementation of LPG the government insisted rural areas to rise in equivalence with urban areas. It is now the time to shift from agriculture to Agripreneurship to rejuvenate Indian agriculture and to give positive perception to youngsters. Agripreneurship can definitely contribute to the economic development of our nation through generating employment, irradiation of poverty, increase income of farmers, supply organic nutritious and healthy food to our economy. The trained agriculturist have started center to offer expert advice to farmers on cropping methods, technology dissemination, crop protection, Market trends and prices of crops in markets. They also grant scientific services for farming which would enhance the productivity of crops. en_US
