Abstract:
The study brings out to some extent conclusively entrepreneurial trails/abilities/skills involved in technical entrepreneurship. It may be concluded that the more these characteristics are present in a person the more effective he is likely to be as an entrepreneur. The few generalisations can be made from the study are: one, the trails described can be developed in technical students through psychological education. Two, presence of these traits increases the probability of an entrepreneur emerging out successful. Three, techno-entrepreneur is not different from the non-techno-entrepreneur in terms of his psychological and social dispositions but certainly has an edge over them that of technical education and training, know-how and know-why of the technology and its application leading to entrepreneurial innovation.
