dc.description.abstract The paper attempts at developing a conceptual model for entrepreneurial success. The approach followed in the mode deviates from trait and background approaches to explain entrepreneurial success. The model has been developed based on cognition and information processing abilities of entrepreneurs with social and cultural context. The model draws from multiple disciplines like sociology, psychology and economic. It is an attempt at building a distinct theory of entrepreneurial success. However, the model remains to be tested. en_US
