dc.description.abstract In recent times, several farm women in Kerala have emerged as agri-entrepreneurs. A study of women agri-entrepreneurs in central Kerala revealed that nearly 50% of the women were high and the remaining 50 low on Entrepreneurial Success Index (ESI). There is need for increased support services and training for women agri-entrepreneurs. The major problems requiring attention are problems of source, market, technical know-how and competition. Socio-cultural discrimination against women is yet another impediment. en_US
