dc.description.abstract Entrepreneurship is crucial to build institutions to evolve and perfect the markets in the economy. This leads to job creation and greater competition giving rise to social and economic development of the country. The spread of management expertise in the economy plays an important role in encouraging entrepreneurship and facilitating the success rate of new ventures. There is a need to tap the talent available in the management stream so as to augment the entrepreneurship development in India. The paper formulates the policies in management education and financial sector to create an ideal incubation environment for young entrepreneurs. Institutional level initiatives have been prescribed, which can be adopted by the premiere management institutions to encourage their students to start their own ventures. The initiatives desired from financial sector are crucial for the success of initiatives by management institutions and also fits well with the strategy of financial institutions. en_US
