dc.description.abstract India is a developing country with second largest population in the world. Large population comes with significant problems like poverty, lack of educational facilities, malnutrition and health problems, employment, etc. Although huge population creates large prospective market, it also creates major problems in employment. This paper deals with the Gujarat government’s SSIP policy and its implementation for creating an ecosystem which can nurture the new start-ups along with creating “job giving environment” instead of “job seeking environment”. It also covers the details of India’s start-up policy implementation and steps taken by Government of Gujarat for its apposite and effective implementation which can elevate the interest of its stakeholders for their benefits with creating innovative environment in the state. The major focus of this paper lies in the impact created by SSIP policy in tribal areas. For this, exhaustive survey has been conducted at various hierarchies that is student level, faculty level, management level, general public, schools, and SSIP coordinators, and their views regarding the SSIP implementation success have been quantitatively and qualitatively analysed for various different perceptive. This research can help in analysing paradigm shift of thought process for stakeholders in tribal areas compared to only analysing output results in terms of patents or start-ups. en_US
