Entrepreneurship could be a sustainable solution in this competitive globalized market for new venture creation; existing venture expansion, social, technological and economic development of the country. However, few studies regarding entrepreneurship have been done in India especially related to engineering and technical disciplines. It is an initial exploratory study, which looks at the situation in a very few higher educational institutions in India.
