However, the guidelines issued by the UGC are silent on some of the important aspects of CBCS such as (a) credit transfer, (b) programm-wise, semester-wise and course-wise min-max credits, (c) classification of students based on their CGPA into few categories, etc. Hence, this paper makes an attempt to provide a comprehensive structure of CBCS with additional details wherever necessary.
