Indubitable, whenever a choice is made, we canont rule out the possibility of some adjustments here and there in the light of development taking place in the environment at the stage of implementation, leave aside a serious environmental change calling for total abandonment of a strategy. In most cases, the basic strategy is kept intact and it dominates the functioning of an organisation for some time. It is in this sense that an attepmt is made to identify a strategy predominantly pursued bya firm.
